Jim Lee is one of the most influential and inspirational comic book professionals in the industry today. His dedication to his craft is simply incredible. There isn't a thing this man cannot draw!

It was his amazing artistic contributions to X-Men (and Whilce Portacio's) that initially got me interested into comic books many many moons ago. I had the honor of meeting him after one of the discussion panels he was presenting at during this year's San Diego Comicon. For me, the comicon allowed me to meet my two most inspirational professional comic book artists. I remember spending many late nights after school and drawing exactly what they had drawn inside their books (well, not exactly, mine wasn't as good).

Every professional and aspiring comic artist can only hope to achieve what Jim Lee has accomplished in his career. You can also see his most recent work on his current run on DC's Batman.
