So here it is, the very first drawing that the two of us have worked on together, for a single goal. We're getting this piece ready for a flyer we want to hand out at a convention in Calgary, Alberta. Kandrix did the main gestural and pencils, while Laurie tightened up lots of the line work, plus the face and hands. The inks were done with a brush on mylar.

We haven't decided on the name of the characters for the story yet, and we're still developing the script. We're planning to just create a one shot book, maybe about 30 pages or so of story and art, but we'll have to see. There is still so much work, development, and thought that has to be put into the project, but we'll see how things turn out. Not only is this the first piece of artwork that we've done together, but this will also be the first major project that we'll be working on. Hopefully everything goes smooth and we can get the book out by summer 2002. It'll be a black and white book, neither of us are strong colorists, and the economics side of things will prevent us from going full color. Well, that's all for now....we have a lot more art and story do to!
